วัดนาทวี
วัดศักดิ์สิทธิ์มีตำนาน
วัดนาทวี เป็นวัดเก่าแก่และสำคัญที่สุดของอำเภอนี้ สร้างขึ้นใน พ.ศ.2360 สมัยพระบาทสมเด็จพระพุทธเลิศหล้านภาลัย รัชกาลที่ 2 เพื่อแทนที่วัดนาหว้า ซึ่งถูกเผาทำลายไปในสมัยสงครามเมื่อครั้งต้นกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์ สิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ประจำวัดคือ หลวงพ่อโต เป็นพระพุทธรูปโบราณปางมารวิชัย สร้างในสมัยอยุธยา มีหน้าตักกว้าง 2.20 เมตร ทำจากปูนปั้นฝีมือช่างท้องถิ่น ชาวบ้านนับถือว่ามีความศักดิ์สิทธิ์และมีปาฎิหารย์ที่เล่าขานเป็นตำนานมากมายจนเป็นที่พึ่งทางใจของประชาชนในพื้นที่มายาวนาน เล่ากันว่า เมื่อชาวบ้านแถบนาทวีและใกล้เคียง เกิดเรื่องข้าวของหายหรือถูกโจรลักขโมยวัวควาย จะเดินทางมากราบไหว้บนบานหลวงพ่อโต ขอให้ได้สิ่งของหรือสัตว์เลี้ยงกลับคืน ซึ่งส่วนมากมักจะได้คืนกลับมาเป็นที่น่าอัศจรรย์
อีกสิ่งหนึ่งที่น่าสนใจคือ“แหวนพุทธดำรง “ รูปทรงคล้ายแหวนมีขนาดใหญ่ทำด้วยหยก แต่ความจริงมีใช่แหวน หากเป็นกำไลโบราณที่ทำจากหินคาเนเลี่ยนหรือหินนำโชค ซึ่งขุดพบที่ท้องนาในอำเภอนาทวี ชาวบ้านที่ขุดพบได้นำมาถวายให้กับวัดนาทวี

Sacred Temple with Legend
Wat Nathawee is the amphoe’s oldest and most important temple. Built in 1817 during the reign of King Rama ll replaced Wat Na Wa which was razed down in the war of the early Ratanakosin era. The sacred object of the temple is Luang Pho To, a Buddha image in the attitude of Subduing Mara built in the Ayutthaya era. With a 2.20-m lap, it was made of stucco, work of local craftsmen. Locals give the sculpture their highest homage, considering a wealth of legends told about it. To them the sacred image has long been a spiritual refuge. Or so the story goes, when the people of Nathawee and nearby lost their possession or their cattle were stolen, they would pray to Luang Pho To for help, and in most cases their wishes would be granted, with the property returned miraculously.
Another interesting attraction is “ Buddha Damrong Ring ” The object is shaped like a ring, but considerably bigger and made of jade. It is in fact an ancient bangle made of carmelian. Some local found it in his paddy field in Amphoe Nathawee and presented it to the temple for keepsake.
